Lord Ganesha Painting

Lord Ganesh is in our heart. Ganesha's removes whatsoever obstacles we have in life. We believe that Ganesha can help to overcome difficulties and challenges in life, whether they be physical, emotional, or spiritual. As such, Ganesha is often invoked at the beginning of important undertakings or during times of difficulty, as a way of seeking his divine assistance. Ganesha is also associated with new beginnings and fresh starts. Ganesha can help to bring about positive change and new opportunities in life, making him an important figure in many types of rituals and ceremonies.

Ganesha's also represents knowledge and wisdom. He is also associated with the idea of viveka, or discrimination, which is the ability to distinguish between what is real and what is illusory. Ganesha's unique appearance is also significant, with his elephant head and portly figure representing the idea of the universe and all its infinite possibilities. His four arms and various symbols are also imbued with important meaning, with each symbolizing different aspects of Hindu philosophy and practice.

The unique painting you see here is painted on MDF board with acrylic colours. Some element of mural is also added in this painting. This painting is best suited for living room or in offices.

I always try to capture the serenity of God through my art on different occasions. I create the idol from shadu soil and worship that during Ganesh festival every year. Doing something about God Ganesh gives me positive energy. Capturing and creating the Lord in different form is like meditation for me. I felt the presence of God everywhere.

Eco-Friendly Lanterns made with paper

Lanterns market during Diwali is dominated by Chinese products, however those products are not eco friendly. That also does not support the Make in India Initiative. For the last 2 years, I have been making my Lanterns at home. I use paper and all material which is available easily. This is also not much time consuming.

This year, I made the Lantern with paper, and a simple colour plate. Cones which you see are made with papers and they are stringed together.

I wish you all a happy and safe Diwali. Cheers.

Ma Durga

Due to Covid19, we could not enjoy the Navratri with full spirit. We could not install the idol and could not perform the pooja and rituals. However, Ma Durga is in our heart. I worshipped her by creating her on the paper. In fact she appears on the paper. If you make the picture in the heart, it paints on the paper.

This art of Durga is created with mixed media on the paper.

Giving back to the society.

Every year I conduct free workshop for poor and underprivileged children during summer and winter. I teach them to create their own art and articles. Sometimes, they make and sell to earn the livelihood.

I believe that you can't change the world but you can change somebody's world.

I missed this year to be with them because of Covid19. I am sure still they remember what they learn.

Siporex Mural of woman

In modern days, Siporex Murals have covered the interiors and exteriors of many buildings, such as palaces, temples, tombs, museums, libraries, churches and the houses of rich art lovers.

The art which I created depicts the story of a woman who loves herself, she is accomplished and peaceful. However she always thinks about family but also loves nature and different things in life. She is a multi-tasker and by doing this she also cares about her surroundings. She is capable, competent and matured to handle the tough situation.

Let's hope that she gets the respect she deserves and peace of mind.

Pencil Sketches

Pencil Sketches created by me during leisure time. Just fun.

Peacock Rangoli

Peacocks are very colourful. These colours actually bring the meaning to life. Hence peacock rangoli is my favorites. These Rangolies are created during different occasions.

Canvas painting

Another creation by me. I found the theme on the internet. I like it and painted it in my way...

Vastupratik- Holy Sign – It is auspicious to bring at home..

It is said that your home speaks. It grasps all vibes, good or bad. Every wall, colour given has some meaning. These vibes give the house, the status of home. You invest money, you spend on interior, but if vibes are not good, your home will not give you the results. Pleasant atmosphere in the home makes your life successful. Your interaction with family members, your values, small rituals help to create positive energy in the home.
Vastu Pratik is one of the sacred cipher (symbol) which gives you the feeling that you should do something good. I have created this artwork for my friend. This is a mural and it has all good signs described in our mythologies.

Save the Girl Child

One more poster created this year...

Radha Krishna

Radha Krishna, the synonymous to the Love. The great love story of Radha Krishna is for understanding the spirituality in relations. When asked about what actually it means, Lord Krishna replied, “In every  man, there is a part of feminine spirit and in every woman, there is masculine spirit. The world is balanced on both spirits. Krishna is in Radha and Radha is in Krisha.” Very relevant. This painting is created with poster colours and shows the spirit of both energy.

Cute Krishna

My son, Atharva, made this drawing at the competition organized on the occasion of Krishna Ashtami (Celebrated as Dahi Handi in Maharashtra). Children relate everything with their world. This Krishna is also innocent as children are. This drawing also bagged first prize.

Freehand for liberated life

We learned “freehand style” of painting during our school days. It is free, but still requires lot of symmetry. This is a beauty of free. At one end we say it freehand and at another side expects lot of precision. It is said that freehand is the exhibition of learning the free and beautiful life. This art has not still attracted much attention, but I request you to just try it. This looks beautiful on glass paintings, window glasses. This also brings a positive energy in home through its different colours and symmetry in free style. Just try it....

Colours of Nature

Logic, not necessarily, always works. In art, imagination works; And I did the same. Imagination and beauty is the fundamental for any art piece. Any art should look good to the eyes of viewers. This is art piece where I draw flowers and I used colours which indicate not only the beauty of nature, but different meanings associated to it. This painting is more suitable to place on living room or bedroom. Frankly speaking you may not find such plant in the nature (different colours and leaves on same plant). But you will see the colours in the life. These colours make our life more happy and contended. This painting is associated to this happiness.

Green Ganesha...

Human beings are weird animals. We believe on the God and then we treat the God like garbage. Have you seen Ganesha idols after the immersion? It actually hurts the sentiments of believer. I decided to avoid this during this Ganapati Festival and created the idol from soil. Ganesha is the beautiful and very simple God. Just draw any line; you can create the God from that line.

It is very easy and you can make it at home. We did it and even immersed the idol in tub at our balcony garden. We are satisfied and even Ganesha...
